Civil Design Engineer
Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Civil Design Engineer (EIT or PE) located in Logan, UT. The role involves designing civil engineering projects, including land development, stormwater management, and roadway design. Daily responsibilities include coordinating with the project manager and support staff, preparing plans and reports, conducting site visits, and ensuring compliance with local regulations and standards.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Civil Engineering Design and general Civil Engineering principles
- Minimum 1-year experience designing Land Development or related Civil Engineering projects
- Strong technical skills in relevant software (e.g., AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and similar engineering tools)
- Proficiency with stormwater calculations/modeling and local stormwater management regulations
- Familiarity with local, state, and federal engineering regulations and design standards
- Effective communication and collaboration skills for working within multidisciplinary teams
- Valid Engineer in Training (EIT) certification or Professional Engineer (PE) license
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering
Structural Design Engineer
Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Structural Design Engineer (EIT or PE) located in Logan, UT. The role involves designing residential structural engineering projects. Daily responsibilities include coordinating with the project manager and support staff, CAD drafting, conducting site visits, creating structural plans and details, and providing structural calculations.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Structural Engineering Design and general Engineering principles
- Minimum 1-year experience in structural engineering
- Strong technical skills in relevant software (e.g., AutoCAD, Microsoft Excel, Enercalc, and similar engineering tools)
- Familiarity with building codes including IBC, IRC, NDS, ASCE 7, ACI 318, AISC, etc.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills for working within multidisciplinary teams
- Valid Engineer in Training (EIT) certification or Professional Engineer (PE) license
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering
